Half Moon design started with a protractor and some water colours. Charlotte was on holiday on the Greek island of Paxos sitting in the shade painting only with watercolours. She had a few pencils and a ruler but not much else. Having fun just creating and playing with paints and making it fun by just painting what she felt like. Charlotte was not worrying about creating a huge masterpiece, often her best patterns have started with a brush stroke or just a very simple design. Using her protractor Charlotte created semi circle ideas and just painted around them. There is no rhyme or reason to how Charlotte created this pattern it just felt right.
