Pearl green fabric
ATTENTION All prices shown are plus VAT for UK customers
Pearl pattern was created from an antique fabric fragment from the 1880s. It was made up of a stripe design which feels almost geometric with floral elements added to the relaxed stripe. Charlotte Gaisford painted the design again so it still has the relaxed geometric/organic feel and look of the original. The pattern repeat has been moved around from the original fragment and recoloured to make it look more contemporary. The colours from old chintz fabric from the 1800s can look quite washed out so Charlotte Gaisford has made this gorgeous blue background which helps make the wallpaper feel warm and inviting. A texture has been added to the background which makes is look like a grasscloth wallpaper
